WHY TRAIN AT SANTÉ CANNABIS?

The medical cannabis practice leadership Santé Cannabis has been shared at the regional and national and to international audiences since our doors opened in 2014.

Our recent publication in the Journal of Complementary Therapies is the first peer-reviewed manuscript to describe a medical cannabis model of care.

As a clinical research site, our clinical practice benefits from evidence-based insights from our own database, combined with the published literature to create a unique, innovative approach to medical cannabis prescribing. We are a regular presence at international conferences and meetings in medical and research spheres and have hosted an annual forum event since 2018 to bring together practitioners and stakeholders at the intersection of society and science, policy, and practice.

Recognized as a primary centre for medical training, our teaching clinic hosts medical trainees from McGill University and facilitates physicians and allied healthcare professionals to further expand their knowledge and incorporate medical cannabis into their patient care repertoire.

In response to huge demand from our international colleagues we have developed a needs-based training course to advance physicians from theory into practice. This first-of-its kind course will transfer our Santé Cannabis expertise to the next generation of medical cannabis practice leaders across emergent international medical cannabis programs.
