Who can participate?

Age range: 21-55

Medication: Not taking medication on a regular basis (except for contraceptives)

Location: Reside in Quebec

Cannabis use: Occasional cannabis consumers (maximum once 1-2x per week in past 3 months, includes all methods of consumption)

Body mass index (BMI): 18.5 to 32.0 kg/m2

Participate in the Study

What’s this study about?

Our study is investigating the effects and duration of ingestible delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) products in healthy adults.

Study Design

Two single-time administrations of an ingestible cannabis product
Compensation for participation up to $200.
A total of four appointments, including two onsite visits at our Montreal clinic.

Study Visits

Two phone appointments lasting 30 minutes each.
Two onsite visits for product administration, lasting 4 hours each.

Disclaimer

Participants will not be allowed to drive on administration days. A taxi ride home will be offered.
Participants will not be allowed to use tobacco or nicotine products for 12 hours prior to onsite visits.
Participants will not be allowed to consume alcohol-based products from 24 hours prior to administration days until 48 hours after.
Participants will not be allowed to consume caffeine-based products from 24 hours prior to administration days until 48 hours after. Decaffeinated drinks are acceptable.
